Hosting, email and processors
Our website is hosted by Hetzner Cloud in Germany. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Statistics and advertising run through Google (Analytics, Ads) and Automattic (Jetpack Stats). We have data processing agreements in place with these parties (Hetzner, Google and Automattic). Google and Automattic may process data outside the EU, in particular in the United States. This is done under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Applying for a job at Dough (GDPR)
What data. Through the application form on /vacatures/ and /en/jobs/ we ask for: the position you are applying for (Stroopwafel baker Gouda or Kinderdijk), name, email address, phone number, town/city, date of birth, driving licence (none / B / BE, optional) and your motivation. All fields except driving licence are required. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field. It does not ask for a CV or other attachments. Purpose. We use this data only to assess your application, contact you and complete the procedure. We use your date of birth to check that you meet the minimum age and to determine the pay that applies to your age. Legal basis. The processing is necessary to take steps, at your request, before entering into an employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Who has access. Only Gerbrand, the owner of Dough. We do not sell your data or share it with other parties for their own purposes. Storage. Your application is stored in our website's database (Hetzner, Germany) and emailed to us (Google Workspace). Retention. We delete your data no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure. If you are hired, the relevant data goes into your personnel file. Your rights. You have the right to access, rectification (correction), erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Send your request to gerbrand@dough.nl. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
